IEEE-CT “Remote Work and Your Future” – Open to All Members

January 22, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us and our speaker Paul Kostek for a mid-morning session on ‘Remote Work and Your Future’. We can’t think of someone more qualified and compelling to lead a discussion on this topic! He’s presently an advisory systems engineer working remotely with international corporations on systems engineering challenges. He’s actively volunteering with other professionals from across the globe on IEEE standards. Paul is also a resident of the Seattle area, which has seen major changes in terms of remote versus on-site work. Oh, and not to forget that Paul was also the President of IEEE-USA, and a member of the IEEE Board of Directors in 1999! We’ll hear his thoughts on ‘Remote Work and Your Future’, followed by an open-floor Q/A discussion. Topics Include: How will working remote/hybrid/on-site 5-days a week impact careers for engineers? How will remote-only work impact team dynamics? Our social lives? Will remote work increase opportunities for both employers and employees? How will this impact career growth? There are many questions facing us all, whether you’re starting out in your career, in the middle stages, or at the senior level. Not a lot of answers yet, so join us for this session to ask your questions and provide your thoughts on the future of remote work!
