The talk will be presented by Dr. Vladimir Blasko who has over 40-year experience in research, development and design of electrical machines, drives and power electronics and associated applied control theory and technology. Before joining Sikorsky, he was a Senior Fellow and Power Electronics group leader at United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), principal engineer and technical fellow at Otis Elevator Co and principal engineer at Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley. He was a post doc and is adjunct professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is IEEE life fellow and holds BSc, MSc and PhD from University of Zagreb, Croatia.
