Tour of Millstone Nuclear Power Station

Join us for a technical tour of Dominion Energy's Millstone Power Station.  This will be an extensive tour hosted by Dominion and will include all major (accessible) components of the plant plus plant simulators.  Attendees should be prepared for a lengthy (approx 1 mile) walk.  Registration will be limited to 20 members, please register early to ensure participation.  Registration will close on August 8th. Please note: -The tour will start promptly at 6PM.  Please arrive prior to this time.  You may arrive as early as 5:30. -Once on the plant access road make the first right turn into the parking lot of the training building and park there.  We will be entering through the east facing door of the first building in the complex. -To enter the power station for the tour we need to be dressed appropriately.  Short sleeve shirts are acceptable.  Long pants are needed and footwear should be sturdy shoes, but no open toe shoes or sandals.  - Millstone is a secure facility.  All attendees must provide citizenship, address, company and social security number.  You may enter this information on the registration form.  You may provide your social security number to me directly (by phone) if you prefer.  You will need to present a valid state or federal issued ID (drivers license ok) at time of tour.   This is a great opportunity to tour this facility, I hope to see you there!  Please contact me with any questions.   Mark Wallace IEEE PES CT Chair markwallace@ieee.org 203/536-2397 Location: Bldg: Training Building 314 Rope Ferry Road Waterford, Connecticut 06385
